Bio
Gyumin Lee is an assistant professor at the Department of Management Information Systems, Dongguk Business School, Dongguk University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Management Science from Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) in August 2023. He won the best research award for his thesis titled “Development of decision support systems for technology and business opportunity analysis”. Before he joined Dongguk University, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Statistics of Korea University.
His research interests encompass the development of data analytics methods with a focus on language models and their applications in practical domains, including patent analysis-based technology management, intelligent manufacturing systems, and drug discovery. Currently, he is interested in utilizing language models to uncover relationships among heterogeneous data in the latent space with the goal of generating new insights.
